I haven’t ever run a marthon – I can’t even finish a 5K – but I think that I have a little inkling of what it must feel like. You are so relieved that you are finished. You are glad that you have done it and completed your goal, but on one level you are glad it is over.

I made my own obstacle course, but all the same I am thankful that we have successfully completed it. We have been to our mission trip to Louisiana, conducted a Backyard Bible School at the Housing Authority, and done a week of summer camp – and it is only July 7th. Looking back I feel a great deal of satisfaction at the good that has been done and the many people who have been involved. But looking forward I just want to lay down for a while. I think I will.
