Since Beth put up a burger recipe, I thought I’d add this. I wasn’t going to originally, because it seems almost too easy. My mom used to make these, and I really liked them. The key is the sauce, which is almost the same as Terri’s meatloaf sauce. We never ate them on buns – just plain.

1/4 lb. ground beef (per burger)
1 pineapple ring (per burger)

Drain pineapple well. Divide meat into two thin patties per burger, place a pineapple ring between patties and seal edges. Cook however you want.

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. mustard

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Pour over burgers and serve.
